  • 1 (9 inch) pie pastry (pre-baked)
  • 1 can (14 ounce) condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 eggs, yolks (reserve the 2 whites to make meringue, you need 4 whites in total)
  • 2 egg whites
  • Granulated sugar, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl beat condensed milk, lemon juice, and yolks until thick (5 minutes or so). Pour into pre-baked pie shell.

  • Step 2: In clean bowl, beat egg whites with sugar to taste until thick (stiff peaks). Spread the meringue over the top of the pie.

  • Step 3: Bake at 350 until meringue is browned slightly (5-10 minutes).

  • Step 4: Chill and serve.
