Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound beef round (steak, fresh)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 15 ounce tomato sauce (diced)
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 to 4 teaspoon beef bouillon (or 3-4 beef bouillon cube, crumbled water
  • 1/4 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut meat into serving sizes. combine four and salt; dredge meat on both sides.

  • Step 2: In skillet, brown meat in oil. transfer meat to crock pot - I used 3 quart crock pot. set aside.

  • Step 3: To the pan drippings add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, carrot, celery, onion, Worcestershire sauce and bullion. pour over meat.

  • Step 4: Put on cover of Crock Pot and cook on low for 8 hours.
