  • 2 cups peanuts (raw)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon maple extract (flavoring)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350*F.

  • Step 2: Put all ingredients in a large saucepan.

  • Step 3: Bring to a boil.

  • Step 4: Boil until all liquid is gone. (Stir occasionally at first,then constantly).

  • Step 5: Remove from heat.

  • Step 6: Spread over greased jelly roll pan.

  • Step 7: Put in preheated oven for 15 minutes.

  • Step 8: Stir peanuts and bake another 15 minutes.

  • Step 9: Cool. Store in glass container.

  • Step 10: Makes two cups.
