Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms (fresh, white button mushrooms)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil (or herbs or your choice, can use fresh herbs)
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons white wine (or to you taste, optional)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet melt the butter. Add in mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms loose their water and are browned.

  • Step 2: Add in garlic and herbs. Cook 2 minutes. Stir in flour.

  • Step 3: Add wine, mustard, cream and salt. Whisk until smooth and bubbly.

  • Step 4: Season with pepper.
