Step 1: In a large saucepan combine the water, oats, quinoa and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice then add in brown sugar or maple syrup. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed and grains are tender. Stir in raisins or the cranberries and walnuts.
Step 3: Serve with milk.
