Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup (or honey, NOT pancake syrup!)
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 (12 ounces) fresh salmon steaks

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the first 3 ingredients in a gallon-size ziploc bag, shake it up, and then add the salmon.

  • Step 2: Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour (or more) turning after half an hour.

  • Step 3: Pour the salmon and the marinade into a baking dish.

  • Step 4: Bake in a 350 (preheated) degree oven, covered with foil, for 15 minutes. The salmon is done when it flakes easily at the thickest part.

  • Step 5: Enjoy!
