Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 quart vodka
  • 16 plums (yellow plums, washed, wiped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prick the plums on all sides with a fork

  • Step 2: Place in a 3 quart glass jar with a lid

  • Step 3: Add sugar and vodka

  • Step 4: Close lid and store in a dark cool place

  • Step 5: Each week stir the plums in the jar

  • Step 6: Cloce lid and let it sit until next week, stir again

  • Step 7: Continue doing this every week for 3 months

  • Step 8: Let the brandy sit for one more month

  • Step 9: Strain the finished through cheese cloth and a very fine sieve into a handsome crystal decanter

  • Step 10: Cheers
