Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound beans, string
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (can use margarine)
  • Shredded cheese (1/4 cup, can use vegetarian cheese shreds)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place a double layer of foil over a foil plate.

  • Step 2: Toss in the beans, onions and garlic and drizzle with the oil, vinegar and water.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle the oregano, salt and pepper over the vegetables.

  • Step 4: Fold the top and sides of foil over like an envelope making sure it is sealed.

  • Step 5: Place in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook for 45 minutes.

  • Step 6: Open the foil packet being careful as the steam will be very hot.

  • Step 7: Toss in the butter and cheese and serve.
