  • 8 ounces sausage meat (mild bulk sausage)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • Everglades Seasoning

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a heavy pot, over medium-high heat , brown sausage well-break up the sausage as its browning and scrape the bits off the bottom-then sprinkle lightly with seasoning.

  • Step 2: Turn down the heat to medium and slowly add the milk and cream, mixing constantly.

  • Step 3: Bring to a boil and turn heat down to simmer-cook, stirring often, until the gravy is thickened ( if too thick, add a bit more milk).

  • Step 4: Add a bit more seasoning at the end, if needed.
