Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 to 6 pounds pork shoulder (smoked, I use my http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/smoked-pork-shoulder-10256)
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 medium red onion
  • BBQ sauce (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons mustard (old fashioned grainy mustard)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Burger buns (8 buns)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whisk together the mayonnaise, agave, vinegar, grainy mustard, salt and pepper and set aside.

  • Step 2: Chop the lettuce and onion into thin shreds and toss together.

  • Step 3: Mix the mayonnaise mixture with the salad and onion mix making sure everything is well coated; set aside.

  • Step 4: Pull the warm smoked shoulder apart with 2 forks, discarding all the fat and grizzle.

  • Step 5: Place the pulled pork over the buns (you can toast the buns before if you like).

  • Step 6: Top the meat with a good drizzle of the BBQ sauce and a scoop of the the salad mixture.

  • Step 7: Add top bun and enjoy!
