Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 to 8 ounces salmon (salmon steak about 1 inch thick)
  • 12 green beans, fresh (or yellow string beans, 1 handful)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • Old fashioned grainy mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar (can use honey or maple syrup)
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the garlic, oil, mustard, agave nectar and ground clove in a re-sealable sandwich bag.

  • Step 2: Add the salmon steak and carefully swish to coat both sides.

  • Step 3: Marinate for 1 hour.

  • Step 4: Place a double layer of foil over a baking pan and toss in the beans.

  • Step 5: Pour the contents of the bag onto the beans and fold the foil over the top and sides to form a foil packet.

  • Step 6: Cook in a preheated 375 degrees Fahrenheit oven until fish starts to flake, about 45 minutes, depending on thickness of steak.
