Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound chicken breast (boneless, skinless, diced)
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (fresh)
  • 1 onion, medium (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 15 ounces kidney beans (canned, rinsed and drained)
  • 15 ounces great northern beans (canned, rinsed and drained)
  • 15 ounces lima beans (canned, drained)
  • 28 ounces pasta sauce, prepared (your choice, I used chunky garden style)
  • Garlic-pepper sauce (1/4 cup, I use Cajun Power brand)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil in a Dutch oven; add chicken and onion and cook until chicken is just pink in the middle, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 2: Add mushrooms and seasonings to pan and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add rest of ingredients to pan, stir to combine well, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 20 minutes.
