Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounces pork chop (cut for stir fry)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons onion (sweet onion, finely chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (large garlic clove, finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon fresh ginger finely chopped
  • 16 sugar snap peas (whole, strings removed)
  • 1 whole peach (peeled, cut into 1/2 inch dice)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (light sodium)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (or splenda)
  • General Tao sauce (1 tablespoon)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put your prepared pork in a bowl or plastic bag, add corn starch and shake well coating all the pieces.

  • Step 2: Add oil to a large skillet, medium high heat, stir fry the pork until lightly brown

  • Step 3: The meat should be almost cooked through

  • Step 4: Add onions, garlic and ginger, stir fry for about 4 minutes

  • Step 5: Add the peas and peaches, stir fry for 2 minutes

  • Step 6: Mix together the soy sauce, sugar and Generl Tao sauce

  • Step 7: Add to pan turn heat to low medium and continue to cook for about 3 more minutes

  • Step 8: Season with salt and pepper and serve
