  • Yellow cake mix (16.5 ounce)
  • 3 ounce box orange jello gelatin
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 2/3 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 4 eggs (large)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon extract (or lemon juice)
  • GLAZE INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Splash of milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dissolve the box of jello in the boiling water, and cool. I let it sit for 10 minutes, then put in the fridge for 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Beat first 6 ingredients together for 3 minutes until blended well.

  • Step 3: Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.

  • Step 4: Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Step 5: While still warm drizzle the glaze over the top.

  • Step 6: Refrigerate bread once it cools.
