Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Spray a large cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Also grease a large 13x9-inch disposable foil pan.
Step 3: Place the wings on the baking sheet. Season the wings with garlic salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 4: Bake for 15 minutes (baking the wings first will remove some of the fat and liquid that will cause the glaze to get watery and thin).
Step 5: Meanwhile combine the oil with soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and cornstarch; whisk until completely combined, then whisk in honey until combined.
Step 6: After the 15 minute baking time, using tongs transfer the wings to the disposable foil pan. Pour the honey sauce over the wings the using your hands or a wooden spoon toss to coat the wings in the sauce, then spread out the wings as best you can (metal tongs or a spoon may tear the foil).
Step 7: Place the wings back in the oven. Bake for another 30-35 minutes (the sauce should be caramelized and the wings should be very tender).
Step 8: Transfer the wings to a large bowl, pour the remaining sauce from the pan over the wings, then toss the wings.
Step 9: Serve and enjoy with a ton of napkins!
