The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup oats (rolled oats)
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons cranberries (dried cranberries)
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds (or any nut would work)
  • Crystallized ginger 3 to 4 teaspoons)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch cardamom
  • Pinch of salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the above in a small ziploc bag.

  • Step 2: When you are ready to use it; combine all ingredients in a bowl (if microwaving) or a saucepan (if heating on the stove).

  • Step 3: Add one cup of water. Heat until just creamy. Add milk, cream or Greek yogurt if desired.

  • Step 4: Serve immediately.
