Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound fresh salmon fillet (steel head salmon)
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, dill, salt and pepper and rub over the flesh part of the salmon filet.

  • Step 2: Place in the refrigerator and allow to sit for 1 hour.

  • Step 3: Place the filet, skin side down into the smoker.

  • Step 4: Smoke at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

  • Step 5: Remove from smoker, cool and serve.
