Step 1: Pull the cob husks back and remove the silks.
Step 2: Place the cobs in a bucket of water, covering the cobs but keeping the husks out of the water; soak for a couple of hours.
Step 3: Take the cobs out of the bucket and pat dry.
Step 4: Mix together the melted butter and Parmesan cheese and brush on the cobs.
Step 5: Bring the husks back over the cobs and place in the smoker.
Step 6: Smoke at approximately 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
