Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • French baguette loaf (1/2 loaf, cut into 6 thick slices)
  • 6 teaspoons olive oil
  • 6 ounces crab (or imitation crab)(chopped into chunks)
  • 1 medium tomato (diced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons seafood sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (i use no fat type)
  • Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make a shallow cut in the middle of each piece of baguette; pour a generous teaspoon of olive oil over each piece and place on oven tray; broil for about 5 minutes until well browned; set aside to cool.

  • Step 2: Combine in a medium bowl, the crab, tomato, green onion, seafood sauce, mayoonnaise and sea salt and pepper; stir well.

  • Step 3: Spread open the cut in each toasted baguette piece and fill generously with crab mixture.

  • Step 4: Serve immediately with napkins !
