Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds scallops (bay scallops)
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (chopped)
  • Lemon wedges
  • Sprigs of parsley for garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash scallops and pat dry.

  • Step 2: Put flour mixed with salt and freshly ground pepper in a medium bowl; roll scallops in flour.

  • Step 3: Heat olive oil over medium low heat; shake off any excess flour mixture and add scallops and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Halfway through cooking, stir in garlic. Stir in parsley and serve with lemon wedges and garnish with parsley sprigs. Serve over rice or pasta.
