Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/4 cup of uncooked egg noodles
  • GRAVY
  • 1/4 cup butter (or margarine)
  • 1/4 cup onion (finely chopped sweet onion)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet(or other similar browning agent),optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Additional Ingredients:
  • 2 4 ounce leftover ground beef patties,which have been cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 cup of any leftover mixed veggies( I used carrots,peas,corn)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook noodles according to package directions,drain and set aside.

  • Step 2: Over medium heat,melt margarine in a skillet large enough to hold all ingredients then add and cook onions until soft.

  • Step 3: Then add flour to cooked onion and stir until well blended.

  • Step 4: Add broth a little at a time, stirring until well blended and desired thickness is reached.( If your gravy isn't as dark as you like add the Kitchen Bouquet)

  • Step 5: Then add ground beef pieces to gravy and stir occasionally until heated through,then add noodles and veggies.

  • Step 6: Stirring until veggies and noodles are heated through.
