Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Ground Beef - Sloppy Joe
  • 2 sub rolls (crusty rolls, sliced in half)
  • 1/2 cup Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk (low-fat)
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cups low-fat shredded cheese, shreded
  • Ham & Pineapple:
  • 2 sub rolls (crusty rolls, sliced in half)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 slices ham (deli ham)
  • 2 pineapple rings, cut in cubes (fresh)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Brunch (morning):
  • 2 sub rolls (crusty rolls, sliced in half)
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 slices of ham
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425 F

  • Step 2: *SLOPPY JOE: In a medium sauce pan brown the ground beef. Add onion, milk, ketchup, Worchestershire sauce, oregano, garlic and salt and pepper; Cook until all liquid is gone, take away from heat and set aside.

  • Step 3: Place the sub roll halves wit the cut side up on a cookie sheet and bake for about 5 minutes until crispy. Top the toasted sub halves with equally with the ground beef mixture, finish off with shredded cheese and bake for another 12-15 minutes (until cheese is browned).

  • Step 4: HAM & PINEAPPLE: Place the sub roll halves wit the cut side up on a cookie sheet and bake for about 5 minutes until crispy. Spread butter equally over subs and spice with garlic, salt and pepper, layer ham slices over, then place pineapple cubes on top and finish off with shredded cheese.

  • Step 5: Bake for another 12-15 minutes (until cheese is browned).

  • Step 6: BRUNCH (MORNING): Place slightly beaten eggs in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for about 2 minutes (times may vary, just look when the egg is cooked through). Remove from microwave then chop eggs. Season with garlic salt and pepper.

  • Step 7: Place the sub roll halves wit the cut side up on a cookie sheet and bake for about 5 minutes until crispy. Brush roasted subs with BBQ sauce. Layer ham slices over it. Place scrambled eggs on top and finish off with shredded cheese. Bake for another 12 – 15 minutes (until cheese is browned)
