Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon seafood sauce (cocktail sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 3 tablespoons jalapeno peppers sliced (canned)
  • 20 medium shrimp (prawns, cooked and chilled)
  • 1 tangerine (peeled, segments separated and pith removed)
  • 1 onion (12 red onion strips approx. 1 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch)
  • 1 tomato (slices in 6 slices)
  • 1 1/2 cup jicama (peeled, cubed into 1/2 inch cubes)
  • 1 avocado (peeled, pitted, sliced)
  • Lettuce (4 leaves)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whip together the oil, lime juice, cocktail sauce, tequilla and jalapenos.

  • Step 2: Pour into a serving vessel and place in the fridge.

  • Step 3: Place all the prepared vegetables in separate containers and place in the fridge.

  • Step 4: Just before serving prepare the avocado

  • Step 5: Place lettuce leaves on two dinner plates and artistically arrange the salad ingredients

  • Step 6: Serve
