Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 chicken breast (thin sliced chicken breast cutlets, about 1 pound)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (seasoned bread crumbs)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup white wine, (dry white wine)
  • 6 slices muenster cheese
  • 2 cups portobella mushrooms (baby sliced)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat egg and soak chicken cutlets.

  • Step 2: Place in refrigerator for one hour.

  • Step 3: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 4: Drain cutlets and dredge in breadcrumbs.

  • Step 5: Heat butter over medium-high and brown cutlets on both sides.

  • Step 6: Place into a casserole, do not stack.

  • Step 7: Pour white wine over.

  • Step 8: Place mushrooms over.

  • Step 9: Place slices of cheese over.

  • Step 10: Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
