Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (15 ounce) cream style corn
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup heavy cream (approximately)
  • Seasoned salt (I used Lawry's, to taste, I add about 5-6 good shakes)
  • Black pepper, to taste (lots)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine cream style corn and heavy cream in a small saucepan.

  • Step 2: Add several shakes of seasoned salt and several hearty shakes or grinds of black pepper, the amount is entirely to taste.

  • Step 3: Heat gently over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 5-10 minutes or so.

  • Step 4: Taste for seasonings and adjust as needed.

  • Step 5: Serve immediately, as is or garnish with crumbled cooked bacon, shredded cheese, green onion slices, or croutons, if desired.

  • Step 6: NOTE: If you prefer, you may microwave this in a covered micro-safe glass bowl for a few minutes until heated through.
