Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon dried tarragon
  • 1 tablespoon dried chervil
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried marjoram (optional, but I do recommend it)
  • 3 tablespoons sea salt (or kosher salt)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground tri-color fresh peppercorns (you want to end up with 1 tablespoon ground)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Seasoning ... Add the peppercorns to a coffee grinder, and pulse a few times until you end up with 1 tablespoon of fresh ground pepper. Then, add in the salt, tarragon, chervil, chives, parsley, and marjoram (if you decide too), and pulse another time. These are already dried; so you don't want to make POWDER, you just want a fine ground seasoning.

  • Step 2: Storing ... I like to use small mason jars to keep this seasoning; but, you can always re-use any spice jars. Just make sure to soak them well in soapy water, or run them through the dishwasher before using.

  • Step 3: ENJOY! ... Great with any of your favorite egg recipes. This is a very mild seasoning; so, it is also wonderful on vegetables, tomatoes, and salads.
