Step 1: Preheat oven to 250F.
Step 2: Mix flour, oats, coconut and wheat germ in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Combine the remaining ingredients in a smaller mixing bowl.
Step 4: Pour the corn syrup mixture into the dry mix, then mix well.
Step 5: Spread out into an even layer, about 1/2-inch thick, on a cookie sheet.
Step 6: Bake for 1 hour.
Step 7: Cool, cut into bars.
