  • 1 package (2.5 ounces) thinly sliced gluten free ham
  • 3 tablespoons garden vegetable cream cheese spread
  • 2/3 ounces fresh basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup roasted red bell peppers (jarred patted dry)
  • 5 pieces string cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Stack 2 slices of ham on a work surface; pat dry with paper towel.

  • Step 2: Spread evenly with 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons cream cheese.

  • Step 3: Top with basil leaves to within 1 inch of top edge.

  • Step 4: Cut roasted peppers into 1 inch strips; cut to fit width of ham.

  • Step 5: Place pepper strips across bottom edge of ham.

  • Step 6: Place cheese piece above pepper on basil leaves; trim to fit.

  • Step 7: Beginning at bottom edge, roll up securely; wrap in plastic wrap.

  • Step 8: Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 5 rolls; refrigerate 2 hours.

  • Step 9: Unwrap rolls; place seam sides down.

  • Step 10: With a sharp serrated knife, cut each roll into 5 pieces.
