Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 slices day-old white bread (grated into fine crumbs)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 small onion, grated with juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat the eggs, add crumbs, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire and onion. Blend well. Add ground beef and blend completely. Place in an oval baking pan lined with parchment paper or grease the pan. Trust me, parchment paper makes clean a snap. Trim away excess paper. Bake at 350' for 90 minutes.

Don't forget the following tips and variations.
  • We like to add potatoes that have been scrubbed or peeled and sliced lengthwise after cooking the meatloaf for about 50 minutes.
  • Also, change it up by topping with ketchup or bottled bar-b-que sauce for the last 30 minutes.
