Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 pound bacon (thick-cut, cooked until crisp then chopped finely, there's really no set amount use whatever you like)
  • 6 cups chopped broccoli (lightly steamed then chopped I use 1 large crown of fresh broccoli for this)
  • 1 small red onion (chopped finely)
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (Best Foods/Hellman's works best, don't use low fat mayonnaise it will make it to thin and will make the salad watery)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper
  • Sunflower seeds (any amount that you want to use, salted or unsalted)
