Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup fat free soy beverage
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (or raspberries, both are good but blueberries have a ton of great health benifits)
  • 1/2 to 1 whole green apple (peel left on, seeded then chopped)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional, use your favorite or Silken tofu can be used in place of the protein powder)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or natural peanut butter)
  • 2 tablespoons finely ground flax seed
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves (I keep my uncooked spinach leaves that I use for my smoothies frozen in a plastic bag in my freezer)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (also kept in my freezer)
  • 1/3 cup water or fruit juice (optional, see recipe description above)
  • Stevia or honey (to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place all ingredients in a blender starting with the soy beverage first then remaining ingredients; blend until smooth. Enjoy!
