Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 medium sweet potato (peeled and diced into 1 inch cubes)
  • 1 large apple (peeled, cored, and cut into 1 inch cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (or Olive oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary, more if you like

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Coat a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

  • Step 3: Add the cubed sweet potatoes and apples to the dish.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle the chopped Rosemary and salt over the potatoes and apples.

  • Step 5: In a small measuring cup, melt the butter in the microwave; remove and stir in the brown sugar.

  • Step 6: Pour over mixture and stir well to coat and combine.

  • Step 7: Cover with foil or a lid and bake for 35 minutes.

  • Step 8: After 35 minutes, remove foil and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are fork tender, but not too soft.
