Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup yellow bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 large stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (14 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained (don't drain)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, undiluted
  • 2 cups uncooked whole wheat elbow pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook beef until browned at medium-high heat in large non-stick skillet. Add mushrooms, peppers, onions, and celery, garlic powder, salt, pepper.. Cook and stir for 3 minutes.

  • Step 2: Place mixture into shallow 3 quart baking dish.

  • Step 3: Stir in all other ingredients except cheddar cheese.

  • Step 4: Bake covered at 400 °F (preheated) until pasta is tender – about 50 minutes.

  • Step 5: Stir. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
