Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounces sliced bread (6 slices sourdough)
  • 9 ounces cooked sliced (6 slices roasted, use the meat from a roasted turkey it makes the best sandwich, the deli turkey is processed and salty)
  • 3 to 6 ounces sliced cheddar cheese (3 to 6 thin slices, cheddar jack cheese)
  • 1 tomato, plum (sliced thin)
  • 6 ounces sliced bacon (6 slices, cooked until crisp)
  • 1 avocado (peeled thinly sliced)
  • Spicy mayonnaise (like Kraft Sandwich Shop Spicy Mayo)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Spread the spicy mayonnaise on one slice of bread for each sandwich (3 slices).

  • Step 2: Layer the cheese, tomato, avocado, turkey and bacon (2 slices of bacon per sandwich).

  • Step 3: Cover with the other slice of bread and grill (if you are using a George Forman grill, put the sandwich with the cheese side up so that when the cheese starts to melt, it will melt down over everything, if you want your bacon to stay crisp, wait until after you've grilled the sandwich to add it in).
