  • 2 cups strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (the best you can find)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook strawberries, sugar and balsamic vinegar over medium heat for 10 minutes (for sauce) or 20 minutes (for jam).

  • Step 2: After 10 minutes the sauce should be of the same consistency as maple syrup.

  • Step 3: After 20 minutes the strawberry jam should be the consistency of thick honey, or register 220 degrees F.

  • Step 4: Remove from the stove and allow to cool.

  • Step 5: Enjoy!
