Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can black beans
  • Chopped green chiles (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups salsa (medium or mild)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 ounces cheddar cheese
  • Baked corn tortilla chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drain and mash black beans leaving some whole.

  • Step 2: Add chilies (you can add a bit of the juice for extra flavour), salsa, sour cream and half of the grated cheese.

  • Step 3: Blend well.

  • Step 4: Pour mixture into medium sized baking dish.

  • Step 5: Cover with remaining cheese and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

  • Step 6: Serve warm with plain tortilla chips.
