Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound uncooked spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (or 1 small onion)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (14-1/2 ounce) can reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (12 ounce) can can fat-free evaporated milk
  • 2 cups cubed cooked turkey breast (or cooked cubed chicken)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.

  • Step 2: In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer.

  • Step 3: Combine cornstarch and broth until smooth; stir into the onion mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

  • Step 4: Reduce heat to low add evaporated milk; cook and stir for 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 5: Stir in the spaghetti, turkey, mushrooms, seasoned salt and pepper.

  • Step 6: Transfer to an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.

  • Step 7: Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

  • Step 8: Uncover; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika; Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until heated through.
