  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Lupa Cheese
  • Salt and ground white pepper to taste
  • 1 cup garlic croutons

How to Make

  • Step 1: In medium saucepan cook bacon until crisp.

  • Step 2: Add butter, onions and celery; cook until tender.

  • Step 3: Stir in flour and garlic powder and continue to cook until combined.

  • Step 4: Slowly pour in wine and gradually add chicken stock and milk; cook over low heat until smooth and slightly thickened.

  • Step 5: Season to your taste with salt and pepper.

  • Step 6: Pour soup into bowls and garnish with croutons
