Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups soy sauce, sodium reduced.
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, or splenda brown sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 large cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seed oil
  • 6 pieces maui cut, sliced beef short rib, 1/2 inch thick
  • Vegetable spray for skillet

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large zip lock bag combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic and sesame oil, Mix well.

  • Step 2: Add the meat.

  • Step 3: Seal the bag, turn it a few time, place in fridge. Leave for at least 8 hours or overnight

  • Step 4: Everytime you open the fridge turn it over.

  • Step 5: Remove ribs from marinade, discard marinade.

  • Step 6: Lightly oil a large skillet and cook the ribs for abour 3-4 minutes each side.

  • Step 7: Timing depends on the thickness of your meat.

  • Step 8: They should be nicely browned on the outside but still juicy in the middle
