  • 8 boneless chicken breasts (or 8 chicken thighs with bone and skin left on)
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups herb stuffing mix, or more as you need (you might need more, the complete top must be covered with the dry stuffing mix)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Arrange the chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with Swiss cheese slices.

  • Step 3: In a bowl mix the soup with garlic powder and wine until combined, pour over the chicken, then drizzle the melted butter or margarine, then sprinkle the stuffing mix crumbs over the top (making sure all the top is covered).

  • Step 4: Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
