  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry crushed red pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all dry ingredients together. Spread ground pork out in a shallow pan. Sprinkle with the spice mixture. Drizzle with water. Mix as thoroughly as possible (most important step).

  • Step 2: Cover and refrigerate 24 hours. Mix again. NOTE: Cook Time is Refrigeration Time.
