Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 (4 ounce) catfish fillets
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for fryingf

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place cornmeal on large piece of wax paper or a large shallow bowl.Add Old Bay seasoning, parsley, garlic salt and pepper. Stir with fork until well combined.

  • Step 2: First dip fish fillets one at a time in beaten egg. Allow excess egg to drip off. Coat with cornmeal mixture.

  • Step 3: Heat oil in large skillet. Panfry fillets 4 minutes on each side, or until fish flakes easily with fork.
