Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Stir in taco mix and salsa; reduce heat and simmer uncovered over medium-high heat for about 20-25 minutes. Stir in black beans; heat through, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Spread crushed tortilla chips in bottom of baking dish, then spoon beef mixture over chips. Spread sour cream over beef, then sprinkle olives, green onion and chopped tomato. Top with shredded cheese.
Step 4: Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
