Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 5 cups chicken broth (or more to taste)
  • 1 cup light milk
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken (I use Healthy Request)
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper, to your taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large saucepan, saute onion, celery and carrots in olive oil or butter till tender but still with a little bite. Pour in milk and broth. Bring to a boil. Stir in chicken and cream of chicken soup. Simmer on low heat (15 minutes).

  • Step 2: Add in noodles, salt and pepper.
