  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg, beaten

How to Make

  • Step 1: Separate onion slices into rings.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, egg, beer and 1 tablespoon oil. Blend until smooth.

  • Step 3: Dip onion rings into batter to coat well, fry in hot oil at 375 degrees until golden brown. Transfer to paper towels. Sprinkle lightly with more seasoning salt if you want. Serve hot
