Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 slices white bread (toasted)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup seedless raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Butter the toast and cut into cubes

  • Step 2: Using a buttered 9 x 9 baking dish alternate the layers of the toast and the raisins

  • Step 3: In a medium bowl mix the salt, sugar, eggs, milk and the water till blended well. Pour over the layers of toast and raisins and let sit for 20 minutes

  • Step 4: Combine the cinnamon and brown sugar and sprinkle over top of pudding mix

  • Step 5: Put in a preheated 325 oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until firm
