Step 1: Salmon ... First, take the salmon out of the refrigerator to take the chill off. Drizzle a little olive oil, and rub on to the salmon; then, season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Sauce ... Add the cream, honey, and mustard to a small pot and bring to a light boil. Reduce to a low simmer and let it naturally thicken as the salmon cooks - stirring often. Right before serving, add the fresh dill.
Step 3: Cook ... As I said, the salmon can be broiled, baked or even grilled. You pick the method which works best for you. The fish should take around 10-15 for broiling, 15-20 for baking and less for grilling. It will depend on the thickness of your fish. The fish should be firm to the touch and lightly opaque, but not overdone. Over cooking can cause the fish to be dry.
Step 4: Serve ... Once the salmon is cooked; plate the salmon family style, and drizzle the cream sauce over the top. I love to serve the salmon over rice or pasta. That way, you can enjoy all that wonderful sauce. ENJOY! Add a simple salad or fresh vegetables for a delicious easy dinner.
