Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds celeriac, peeled, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 pound kohlrabi, peeled, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 pound russet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 large granny smith apple, peeled, cored and cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margerine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the celeriac, Kohlrabi, potatoes and apples separately until they are tender enough for mashing. Approximate times are: celeriac 11-13 minutes, kohlrabi apprx 14 minutes and potatoes 10-12 minutes, apple cooked with 2 tablespoons water for 6-8 minute

  • Step 2: Use a ricer or a food processor to mash all the veggies and the apple, process until smooth or the consistency that you like, mix them well together

  • Step 3: Stir in butter and season with salt and pepper. Place the mixture in an oven proof pan.

  • Step 4: Place in 350 oven for 35 minutes just before serving
