  • 1 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 1/2 pound salted butter
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1 300 milliliter can sweetened condensed milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix sugar, syrup, and butter in a heavy sauce pan. Place over medium heat. When it comes to a boil stir constantly for 8 minutes.

  • Step 2: Remove from heat. Add water in 3 intervals, 1/4 cup at a time - stir well after each addition.

  • Step 3: Add sweetened condensed milk and stir until mixture is blended.

  • Step 4: Pour into sterilized pint canning jars (3), affix lids and store in refrigerator.
