Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola oil)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups oats (old-fashioned oats)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 packed brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips (miniature)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter, honey, egg, oil and vanilla until blended. Combine the oats, brown sugar and salt; add to the peanut butter mixture and mix well. Stir in chips. (Batter will be sticky.)

  • Step 2: Transfer to a 13-in x 9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degree for 12-15 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool then cut into bars.
